Arctotis fastuosa - Namaqualand arctotis - 15 seeds
Arctotis fastuosa, called Namaqualand arctotis is an annual herb to 45 cm high. Flower heads solitary, blackish with orange ray florets, 50 - 60 mm diameter. In nature, Arctotis fastuosa germinates after good winter rains and colours large fields when it flowers in spring (July–October). Seeds can also be sown in seed trays or directly into well-prepared garden beds. Full sun, well-drained soil and regular watering are important for success with the seedlings and plants in the garden.
